XTERRA JAPAN 2026 Marunuma

XTERRA, an off-road version of triathlon, will be held at Marunuma in Gunma Prefecture.
Come enjoy off-roading to your heart's content in a place of pristine nature and abundant flora and fauna.
If you're not ready for a full-fledged XTERRA, please start with the Light (S:600m/M:10km/R:5km). 

XTERRA JAPAN 2026 Marunuma is a qualifying race for the
XTERRA World championship 2026 or XTERRA World Championship 2027.
XTERRA JAPAN 2026 Marunuma is a "double award eligible race" with XTERRA JAPAN 2026 Nenouekogen.

Parking information for the venue:

- On the day of the RACE(8/22), parking at the venue parking lot (Kankoso parking lot) is only available to guests staying at Kankoso.
- Guests not staying at Kankoso should use Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort Parking Lot No. 2 (approximately 4km from the venue). A paid limousine bus will be operating, so please use this to get to the venue.

XTERRA JAPAN　Oath

・We love and cherish nature.
・The course is a special area that cannot be accessed without permission, such as national and prefectural parks. We must not disturb the natural environment of the course, whether for training or racing. We do not pick any plants or animals or take any stones home with us.
・We will be considerate of the local area and will take our own trash home with us to help preserve the natural environment.
・During training and races, we will try to ride in a way that does not cause trouble to other hikers etc.
・We will take care to avoid injuries and accidents during training and races. I will participate a self-responsible
race.
・We don’t force to carry on the race when we are hurt or injured. There will always be another chance.
・We don't forget to have fun no matter what! Reach the finish line with a smile!

General rules

・I will abide by all laws and regulations, and follow the event rules and instructions of the officials. In the event that I am injured or killed in any way during the competition (including during ancillary events), I and my relatives will not hold the organizer or its related parties responsible in any way. Furthermore, will be responsible for the management of my personal belongings during the competition (including during ancillary events).

・I agree that my portrait, name, address, age, and athletic history will be used in general advertising related to the tournament, as well as in news and information media, and I agree to commercial use in print, video, information media, etc. produced by the organizers and the governing sports organizations in connection with these. If I’m under 18 years old, will apply with the consent of my guardian.

・Even if the tournament course is changed, the content is reduced, or the tournament is canceled due to weather conditions, natural disasters, incidents, accidents, epidemics, etc. the participation fee will not be refunded. Please note that once the payment procedure has been completed, we cannot cancel your application or refund your participation fee for any reason. Substitutions will not be permitted. Participants will compete safely in accordance with the rules of the tournament.
