XTERRA JAPAN 2023 Marunuma

XTERRA will be held in Katashina Village, a treasure trove of untouched nature and rich flora and fauna.

You can participate according to your level, from “Sprint” (Swim 200m / MTB 6km / Trail Run 2km) with a time limit of 2 hours to “Long Distance” (Swim 2km / MTB 60km / Trail Run 20km) with a time limit of 9 hours.

If you are not comfortable biking off-road, duathlon/aquathlon is for you!

XTERRA JAPAN 2023 Marunuma is a qualifier for the XTERRA World Championship!
The first-place finisher in each eligible age group will be eligible to participate in the 2024 XTERRA World Championship.

Concept

By hosting XTERRA JAPAN 2023 Marunuma, we will promote sports tourism together with a lot of people involved in tourism and forest conservation, such as by developing a tourist town utilizing the local resources around Nenoue Kogen, attracting training camps, and disseminating information domestically and internationally. The purpose of this race is to educate the public about the protection and maintenance of nature in the satoyama area, including the lake, and to contribute to the development of the Nenoue Highlands area as a nature experience type activity.

VIP entry is available for all events and various preferential services.
